Better Than Par Terms and Conditions 

 

1. Eligibility Requirements To participate in any Better Than Par competition:

• You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

• You must hold a current and valid Golf Australia handicap.

• You must be a registered and financial Better Than Par member to be eligible to win prize money.

• You must complete registration and payment before the commencement of your round. Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in ineligibility.

 

2. Membership Requirement Only active, financial members of Better Than Par are eligible to receive prize money. Non-members may not claim winnings under any circumstances.

 

3. Entry & Registration

• All participants must be officially registered prior to teeing off.

• Entries submitted after the commencement of a round will be invalid.

• It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure their registration is properly completed.

 

4. No Refund Policy All entry fees and membership payments are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

• Change of mind

• Withdrawal from competition

• Disqualification

• Failure to meet eligibility requirements

• Weather interruptions No exceptions will be made.

 

5. Scoring Integrity & Conduct All participants must accurately record and submit scores and comply with official golf rules. Any participant found to be:

• Cheating

• Tampering with a scorecard

• Falsifying handicap information

• Providing misleading or inaccurate information Will result in automatic disqualification and may result in permanent removal from Better Than Par competitions. Prize money will be forfeited. Better Than Par reserves the right to verify all scores and handicap details.

 

6. Prize Money

• Prize money will only be awarded to eligible participants who fully comply with these Terms.

• Payments will only be made to verified members.

• Better Than Par reserves the right to withhold or cancel prize payments if eligibility requirements are not met.

 

7. General Conditions Better Than Par reserves the right to modify competition rules, refuse entry, or disqualify participants for breach of these Terms. All decisions made by Better Than Par regarding competition results and eligibility are final. By registering and participating in a Better Than Par competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
