  • the Local Rules of the Host Club;
  • any Temporary Local Rules in effect on the day of play; and

  • where countback is not applicable, Better Than Par may determine another fair method of deciding the winner.

The applicable method will be published before the competition where practical.

4.12 Pace of Play

Participants must maintain an acceptable pace of play in accordance with the Host Club’s policies.

Players who deliberately delay play or repeatedly breach pace-of-play requirements may:

  • receive warnings;
  • be disqualified from Better Than Par competitions; or
  • be suspended from future events.

4.13 Sportsmanship

Participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.

Better Than Par may photograph or film competitions for promotional, editorial and marketing purposes.

By participating, players acknowledge that photographs and video footage may include their image. The use of personal information and images is subject to the Better Than Par Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

Participants who have legitimate privacy or safety concerns should notify Better Than Par before the event so reasonable requests can be considered.

4.18 Competition Decisions

Better Than Par may make decisions relating to:

  • eligibility;
  • prize allocation;
  • interpretation of these Competition Rules;
  • administrative matters relating to Better Than Par competitions.

Operational decisions made by Better Than Par are final unless a review is required by law or an error affecting the outcome is identified.

Participants must comply with:

  • all applicable Commonwealth, State and Territory laws;
  • Host Club rules;
